CNN and Fox confuse everyone… even the president!

12 Sep

Major networks CNN and Fox incorrectly announced that the Supreme Court struck down the Affordable Care Act, when in reality the court upheld most of its central provisions.

CNN and Fox not only reported this incorrect information on live TV, they also spread it across their social media channels.  We all know how fast news can travel on Twitter; obviously CNN did not.  It took them 13 minutes to issue a correction of the first tweet.  By the time they did this it had already been re-tweeted hundreds of times.

The president was among the millions of misinformed when CNN and Fox broke the news of the Supreme Court’s decision.

While White House officials say that the president was calm, we can all assume otherwise.

Happy Sharing 🙂
